BORDER RADIO
(November 1994 - January 1995)
Border Radio was a very short-lived acoustic outfit, featuring Alessandro 'Boom Boom' Strano on drums
(actually cardboard boxes and empty oil cans), Manrico Marcucci on violin, Amra Ziga on accordion
and me on guitar, harmonica and vocals.
Unfortunately, the unique sound of this combination of instruments
only saw the light of day on a tape of some home rehearsals.
What might have been will never be known, for after a bout of bad flu caused Strano to miss the debut gig
in early 1995 the band went their separate ways.
