Self-taught guitar player, Gianluca plays, breathes and lives the blues. The blues isn't just
a 12 or 8 bar pattern, it is not just a style of music, it is not a number of blue notes
in one scale: the blues is attitude, it is passion, it is sensibility, it is fire and this is
what you get from Gianluca's guitars when he plugs in.
Gianluca begins his live activity playing with several rock-blues bands in Rome and he
also jams with Valter Vincenti (Ricky Portera, Paola Turci, Gatto Panceri).
Then he founds MG Blues and with this band he plays the songs of Robben Ford, Steve Ray Vaughan,
John Mayall, Eric Clapton in several major clubs of Rome, like Alpheus, Geronimo, Brancaleone, Radio Londra,
and at many events of Estate Romana.
From 2004 he begins to work with FL, Daniele Cialente and Giorgio De Caroli on a project of
original songs which he contributes to with his interesting rhythm intuitions and arrangements.
Gianluca plays Fender Stratocaster and Telecaster on Fender and Marshall amplifiers.
