Giorgio (1970) began his musical activities as lead singer and rhythm guitar of Montmartre (1994 - 1998),
playing original songs in Italian. Montmartre were mainly a rock band with some dark influences
and they played in several contests like Rock Emergency (Horus Club) in 1996 and Arezzo Wave in 1997.
Wnen Stefano Barbini, another singer, joined the band they changed their name into Ardesia
producing a two-track demo which started making the rounds in the underground circuit.
In 1999 Ardesia played at May 1st Fest in Ada Villa (Roma), the Music Fest at Memphis Belle club
and they were selected among a few other group at Rock Targato Italia contest at Alpheus
and invited to play at the Barfly in Ancona. In February 2000 Ardesia released their self-produced
CD "L'odore della pioggia" and they are selected as one of the 10 best Italian self-produced bands
and invited to play at M.E.I. in Faenza 2000 and at Il Locale in Roma.
In 2004 Giorgio started working with FL on a project of original songs.
