.: Luisa Capuani :.
Whenever you have the chance to listen to someone singing with such a clear voice and style as Luisa's,
you can't help but thinking what a shame she isn't making a living as a singer.
Luisa started singing influenced by her brother's Giorgio, who fed her with
the songs of Simon & Garfunkel, the Beatles and the Eagles. During her last school-years, she put together a band
with her class-mate Lilla Fiori. As No Business, they played a set of standards and hits in small theatres and clubs
showcasing excellent vocal harmonies.
In the early Nineties, No Business became Fandango, they recorded an album and appeared at the foremost
musical event of pop music in Italy, the Festival of San Remo. After that gig, Luisa quit the band and began working
on other musical projects. Her collaboration with Michele della Bella brought to life Stamina, basically a studio-band
which produced a nice collection of songs, available on cassette and CD.
After singing for a short while with the acoustic trio 3 O'Pop, Luisa is often singing with FL and on his side project,
the infamous California Stars 'n Bars Revue. Here you can listen to Luisa singing Neil Young's 'The Needle & the Damage Done' with Andrea Luciani on acoustic guitar.
