THE TWYLIGHTS
(late 1984 - April 1985)
In 1984 I began playing music with Stefano Frollano and Marco Martella. Our shared enthusiasm for the music of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young
produced a fertile soil for the growth of musical ideas.
With the addition of Alberto Mieli (vocals, guitar, fiddle),
we gathered together to rehearse in a way-down-below-street-level garage, practicing both original songs and covers.
A fuller, more rounded, sound came with the addition of Andrea Spizzichino on bass and Anna Sirinian on background vocals.
The combination of elements brought by each member produced a joyful noise tinged with country-rock and excellent harmony vocals dominating the scene.
