Photography and painting

After "Spheres", the successful exhibition of photographs and paintings created with painter Marco Solaro, another photo taken by FL was transposed on canvas. "I have been a fan of Neil Young for many years and I had led a single life for twenty years. I happened that say to a friend "unless I meet a man that shares the same passion for Neil Young's music then I would rather stay single!" Be careful what you wish for! He introduced me to Dave soon after. In fact, I met him on the 1st of the month, moved in on the 12th and married him 10 months later. Dave has every album, every book and countless downloads (we even have a little dog named Shakey). He also subscribes to Broken Arrow. We travelled around America on honeymoon stopping off at Princeton Landing and The Mountain Bar to see where Harvest Moon was filmed. On Neil's last European tour we saw him five times at five different venues including Norway. Dave and I have been together for seven happy years now and its all thanks to Neil Young.
I searched many photographs in all of his books, album covers and internet but found yours on the cover of Broken Arrow to be the most inspiring. You seem to have captured the man, in control of his music, as master of his craft just as we enjoyed seeing him on his tour.
Thanks again for your inspiration to paint it."    Ingrid Hoare (UK)
